Marine First Aid Training Opportunity

The A-Tlegay Fisheries Society is offering a training opportunity for Wei Wai Kum, We Wai Kai, K’omoks, Kwiakah and Tsolitis community members. A Marine First Aid course will be held at the Quinsam Hall on February 28th to March 1st, from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day. Sayward Futures Society Recreation Site And Trail Maintenance Volunteer Meeting – March 1st

The Sayward Futures Society has an opportunity for volunteer driven folks who want to be a part of shaping their community. 

SFS is now accepting volunteers for recreation site and trail maintenance for the 2025 season.

Mobile Dental Hygiene – April 11th and 13th

Chris Deboot is passionate about helping others achieve wellness as a whole. She is a Yoga Teacher, studied in Bali and is a certified aesthetician as well. Chris is a registered dental Hygienist “RDH” for the past 18 years. She love the outdoors hiking and snowboarding in the mountains with her family.

Chris is bringing her mobile dental hygiene services to Sayward on Friday, April 13th and Sunday, April 15th. Call 250-895-4858 for more details or to book a cleaning.

Kusam Klimb Registration Opens January 25

Embark on the wild and rugged 24 km loop of the Kusam Klimb, taking you up and over the back of Mt. H’Kusam and down through the Stowe Creek watershed. Brace yourself—this challenge is not for the faint-hearted! Each year, near the summer solstice, the Kusam Klimb grants exclusive access to the award-winning Bill’s Trail.
